Dead Stick rod recommendations?

  • #1241531

    Hey guys,

Looking for a new pair of dead stick rods for 3-Waying live bait and pulling spinners.

I’m interested in a 9’6″-10’6″ rod with a good backbone yet a soft enough tip to telegraph bites and let the fish “load up”. Trying to stay under $150 per rod.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

I bought 2 10’6″ MH Eyecons from Dean and so far think they are pretty solid. I pulled 3 ways with them in April with good results. $130ea

The St.Croix Wild River series. I use the WC96MF2. This is a 9’6 rod with medium action and a fast tip. You will love them for pulling spinners. They are telescopic as well.
