MN DNR is collecting walleye eggs for stocking

    The Minnesota DNR has been collecting eggs to raise for their stocking program. I didn’t realize how soon they were able to put some of these fish back into the lakes.

    You mean from hatchery to rearing pond?

    Some of the fry go right into a lake from the hatchery after the 21 days it takes them to hatch, others are put into the rearing ponds.
