Fished P4 Saturday evening and into Sunday morning expecting to catch some big fish…We didn’t catch any big fish but we did manage to catch alot of smaller fish in the 12″ to 18″ range. We caught one Walleye and another Sauger about 22″ but the rest were all smaller fish.

Started the evening with blade baits and then to moxie paddletails after the sun went down. Tried dragging, drifting, pitching, and even anchoring…Caught fish with every pattern but drifting with the current and pitching seemed to be the most productive in 2 to 7 FOW. We did notice they would turn on for a while and then all of a sudden shut off. Alot of boats when we got there but after about 9:00PM they really thinned out. Had a blast and still caught about 40 to 50 in our boat.

I want to thank Jonah and also Brian from Everts…Both were very helpfull putting us on fish.

For a walleye, that is a handsome fish!
