This time of year i was so excited to come is finally here. I went out two days ago at 8 pm and fished till 10 30 pm. Caught a lot of sinks and small keeper size walleye up to 19in and one big piggy female that went 27in 6lb 2 oz filled with.eggs. got a.quick pic and back she went. So i was out again yesterday and tried the same spot with all dinksso i decided to switch to a tailwater shoreline that can produce. Again i lost count of the 10-12 in dauber i caught but not a single big or decent sized one. Does this mean they are spawning on pool 12 with all the dinks there or are they yet to arrive?

That last sentence proves you know how to use punctuation!

Love the sentence where you just start throwing in periods everywhere. Space em out a little, don’t use em all in one sentence!!

whats a dauber and a sink

You’ve never made yer dauber warsh da dishes in da sink?

They have left the dams and are heading to the spawning grounds. The little ones (non breeders) will stay at the dams until the water gets high and there is too much current, then they will spread out also.

Look for a gravel bar on the side of the current and you will find fish, 6-10 feet of water.

Seems the migration to the spawning grounds is about a month a head of normal. The spawners were biting like crazy about 3 weeks ago.
