As long as you are between the railroad tracks on either side of the river, I’m pretty sure you can use either. Somebody correct me before I send Traumatized to jail for he rest of the winter!

You are correct to an extent, if you are from WI you technically legally cannot transport them by motorvehicle across the border. Now to clarify I am talking car not boat. If you for example live in WI and wish to launch at Baypoint or Coville technically you can’t have them with you from WI. Same scenario you can live in WI have a WI DL and buy them in Mn fish with them on the river, but can’t drive them back by car to WI. CLEAR AS MUD????

You are good to go,as long as the willow cats came from a bait shop. And stayed in the original water.I was told that if I got them from a bait shop and kept them in that water,I could take them back with me

The problem is proving that the water is bait shop water. You can’t make this stuff up.

Works both ways doesn’t it? How is it proven it is not “bait shop water”? Confusing regs at best
