Have always liked to fish simple and have avoided planner boards. But after fishing with them last year I want to get a couple. We used the yellow Off Shore ones and I liked them.Mostly for times the fish are closer to the banks and water is a little thin for the t8.Also hope to fish more clear lakes.Like the size of the off shore.Don’t want to have to go to heavy rods to pull. Most likely Tidemaster and Takota300lc.Thanks for any help.

I’ve had the off-shores and the Mr. Walleye Boards. The Off shores run smoother, don’t dive like the Mr. Walleyes and I’ve never had a problem. We have 12.

We built our own tattle tale flags for the off-shores for about $2.50 each instead of spending $20 on them. If you’re fishing big water like Green Bay, the extra money for the snap clip is worth it, if not, just put the red clips on the front of the board.

I would look at the Off Shore OR34 mikni boards. They are reversible so they work on any side of the boat. They are small and lite enought youy can pull them with just about any rod.

Yep the Mini Boards are pretty nice and basic to use, I pull them with spinning rods. But the bigger Off Shore Boards are nice also,

Thanks for the info.May try the 34’s.Would like to stay small as possible. To use lighter tackle setups. Will use mostly in the river and midsize lakes.
