Thank you.

Sure I do.. just show me where you think it doesn’t work.
The return on investment comes back to the communities that thrive on a walleye fishing industry. It’s not just for the fishermen.
Then why don’t they just dump sand in a lake and say that they were walleye fry? That would be a lot cheaper and do as much good as real fry in some lakes.
Well that’s great if you live in that community.
I have a lot of information that was put at my disposal. Just a matter of going through it. It’ll probably take a while since I don’t exactly have a lot of time right now, but I’ll have something by 2013.
It sounds like your ringing the dinner bell, and you don’t have anything to cook.
Just getting the ingredients together.
Fortunately, I made a few contact at the Round Table with COs, Biologist and Fisheries Managers. They all seem more than willing to help point me to resources.

I applaud you for going to the round-table. It sounds like you found your platform (stocking)for the next year. Just remember one tiny fact I learned years and years ago…………”Figures don’t lie, if liars don’t figure.”
Before you go ALL IN on the information you get from these guys take a close look at their agenda.
Much like the Vikings and their WANT for a billion dollar stadium, and their NEED for a 550 million dollar stadium. Use your eyes, ears & brain and you will eventually get down to what they are really after. Things aren’t always as they seem. Propaganda is priceless.

I am not just relying on MN DNR info.
So are you saying that they have a limiting stocking agenda? Then why aren’t they being vocal? Was isn’t the commissioner pushing it?
Not one of the people I talked to brought the topic up. I did.

You sound like Dakota from the Judge Judy thread. Or like my brother who thinks he has all the ideological answers. Its the attitude, “His views are opposite of me, he must not be able to think for himself”.
As for a platform, there is no way I would bring it up at a round table, especially now. There are far too many closed minded people on the other side (not talking about you personally) that don’t want to here anything else. There is no talking to them. There is no compromise. That’s the kind of attitude that had me compare them to a lynch mob or a witch hunt. They won’t listen and I know it would get far too heated than it would be worth.
And in 2013, if the DNR isn’t just playing a game with that date and the numbers, it will all start flushing itself out anyway.
I should add I would be all for taking money from the stocking that isn’t working and put it right back into things to help the walleye fishing. My views really have nothing to do with walleye. I like walleye. Not my first choice to fish for, but I still enjoy walleye fishing.
