Is anyone fishing tailwaters at 8 or 9? Not much action at Dubuque or Bellevue so thinking about trying north. Would appreciate any info. Thanks in advance.

My buddy was just down at Bellevue last weekend and limited out on nice saugers with one eyes and then caught a pile of nice ring perch. I would also advise trying pool 14 below Clinton’s dam, that has been pretty good so far this year, too.

Only 3 boats at Lynxville today when I drove by at noon.

If you are looking at launching on 8 or 9 I’m sure that won’t be a problem.
From the scuttle butt I have heard, you will find hit or miss.

A few weeks ago, around Thanks Giving I pulled a limit fishing 3-ways South of the Dresbach dam. Number 7 and 9 rapalas at a crawl in 15-22fow. I’m sure that method will still produce on the stretch being trolled. Them fish haven’t moved more than 20-50 yards. To keep 6 though, you will have to boat 30.
