I’m thinking of ordering couple of these for dragging jigs/rigs from the front of the boat. I can’t find them in any stores close to me to check them out. Does anyone here use them; how do you rate them? I do a lot of dragging with 1/16 – 1/8 jigs. I also like to pitch with the same set-up occasionaly when I get to a spot that looks interesting (without having to pull another rod out). Would that work?

I think you are right on track with this model. A great price point, especially for a 7’6″ length as compared to any competitor. They are also a multi-purpose tool not only for dragging jigs, but will work as a deadstick, slipbobber, lindy rig, pitching jigs and even light trolling.

You are welcome to demo one of mine if ya have interest, although I am not sure where your location is. Shoot me a email if ya like. Good luck!

I have to order one of those from Dean yet. If the water ever goes down on pools 6-9 I think they’d be a perfect live bait and light jig rod for wing dams. I just worry about breaking the tip on a rod that long. I’ve done it before with my 69mlxfs. Do not put them in rod lockers.

Good pt and not all boats are set-up the same. But thank-goodness for a good warranty! Maybe your dad can make some custom xtra long sausage with a hollow core so you can eat N fish at the same time!

They would also be terrible for pitching small blades
