Kabetogama last week of June !

Well I just returned from a great week of fishing on Kab. I have been away from there for a few years so it was exciting to get back up in the great north woods. The condition went from cold rain and storms to hot as hell and mayflies every where. The bite just stayed the same through all of it very good. We ate a lot of fish also brought are limits home , and release more than we kept. We caught bunches of low 20’s slot fish , with a couple of 24.5 inch kickers. Most of the fish came out of 26 to 30 ft of water rigging leeches. There were still fish shallow also, I caught a 24 incher in just a few ft. of water pitching plastic to smallies. We booked are cabin at Harmony Beach again for next year, nice resort. The Carlson’s do a very good job at making your vacation a enjoyable experience.

Sounds like a great time. I also woud like to get back there someday. I haven’t been there since Watsons sold it.
Kabetogama is a fun lake to fish. Alot of variety.
