    Wondering what some of you are using for draggin jigs, rigging, pitching and what action. My boy fell on 2 of my rods and broke them so looking at replacements? What are your thoughts?

    Why do you ask this question? You don’t fish anyway.

    I’ve seen you in the frozen fish section of Walmart.

    6’8″ Medium action with an extra fast tip, Shimano Compre. Picked up two this last spring and absolutely love them. They fish just as good or better than my high end rods. .02

    Tim;
    6’9″ to 7’6″, I normally use medium lite action, this will cover most applications. Length and tip speed depend on what you need them to do and your particular rod. I have very specific likes/dislikes for dragging or pitching, but none require a high end rod. I’ll be happy to lie to ya about it next time I see ya

    Limit Creek 8’3″ extendable is a ML that is perfect for dragging jigs, best bobber rod I’ve ever used, and doubles for pitching cranks. The 6’9″ ML “Smoothie” is great for pitching lighter jigs & rigging. I put Suffix 832 for river & 8 lb. mono for lake applications.
