Extra GPS to Humminbird 798CI & Powerdrive V2

    Hi! I’ve got a Humminbird 798CI with an extra GPS reciever. When hooking the Humminbird up to my Powerdrive V2 with iPilot Link, does the GPS reciever also provide extra GPS strength to the iPilot or is it only for the Humminbird unit? I don’t particularly like the 798 and I’ve got another unit that I regularly use so I’m just wondering whether it’s worth having the 798 drawing power (if it indeed helps the iPilot)?

    The GPS in your i-Pilot or i-Pilot Link trolling motor is separate from the GPS your depthfinder.
