It was exciting to finally get some summer weather and watch the pads pop up at out local frogging spot. Had a decent day and hoping it keeps getting better.

Nice, a good frog bite is tough to beat. I haven’t been on one in years, they simply won’t take it anymore. That is some gnarly vegetation in there too. I assume you’re in a float tube or kayak. There’s almost no way my boat could get in there.

We wade out from shore they don’t allow any boats/kayaks on the water. We can usually only fish it until mid-July then the pads get to thick and the edge is to far out for us the cast to.
