Are you sure thats a good idea?Just a couple of days ago they were complaining on facebook about boat wakes.I would imagine there will be even more destructive boat wakes now with a lot of boats being able to get out.Watch out that whiny baby Chris guy may blow a gasket on ya if you throw a wake,or ask a question…

Matt, I am sure. The river has dropped enough the past few days to lessen the damage to properties. I am certain we will still be asking people to be mindful of their wakes and a Slowdown when passing property such as cabins and docks.

Want to come toss some gas on an allready contained fire?I used to be a customer of your establishments,no longer after that reply.I didnt quite understand why people were so put off by the changes Everts was going thru. Now its very easy for me to see why you guys lost some longtime loyal customers.

They come on here to let people know the ramp is open and you feel the need to reply by calling someone names….classy move.

Thank you onestout. Yes, it is very difficult to post on this site. I am not going to get into a battle here. We are very happy to finally be able to open our ramps. This has been an awful spring both financially and emotionally for all. Gas stations, hotels, bars, restaurants are all feeling the effects not to mention the fisherman. We could all use some sun, smiles and a fresh Walleye filet…..good for the soul.

    Matt,
I am starting to think that maybe you read the sentence I wrote wrong “about gas on a contained fire”. I posted on my Facebook page asking people to please slow down when going by The Resort or other cabins as the wakes were causing unnecessary damage. I didn’t yell at anybody, I didn’t accuse anybody of doing anything wrong, I just asked them to be mindful of their waked because honestly I am certain people just didn’t even think of that being an issue. The first thing you did was respond with a laughing symbol and then proceeded to ask me ” what more damage could the Wake do that the flood, current, debris and wind havent already done?”
I responded with the fact that our properties were not completely demolished or totaled and that there was no reason to cause unnecessary damage. I then referred to it as having a fire in your garage that you have contained and then pour gas on. I certainly didn’t suggest arson nor did I suggest to pour gas on somebody’s fire. It was a metaphor saying “why cause more damage to something you already have under control”. I really wish I had screenshot the conversation prior to deleting it. My post is still on the Facebook page and you can most certainly read that I was begging people to slow down when they went by The Resort I actually ended the post with please, please.

I don’t know who you are Matt, and I certainly have no problem with you. I did not like the laughing face to that post when I was sincerely asking people to take not only my home and livelihood into account, but all of the others on the river while the river was at its crest.

Yes there are some houses taking on water yet today. Give them courtesy.

Very little floating debris in the water. Current is still very fast.

    Here’s ld3 yesterday…

Thanks for letting us know Chris. I’m anxious to get back on the water. You and all the staff at 4 seasons have been a great resource for the River angling community.
