1st (hopefully Annual) Night Fishing Contest

5:00pm to 11:00pm (this is after dark)

Entry Fee for two person team will be $50.00.
Pay back will be 90%

There will be an optional big walleye pot @ $10.00.
Big fish will be 100% payback.

Cash only please.

Two hooks per angler all other MN and WI rules must be followed.
Fishing area is open water on Pool 4 to the head of Lake Pepin, train track to train track.

Weigh-in limit will be 6 (six) WALLEYES with possession limit of 12. Minimum size of 15”. On-line pre-registration is encouraged on http://www.idofishing.com in this forum.

Pre fishing is not allowed the day of the tourny. Fishing the day before and night before is allowed.

After weigh in, we encourage release of all fish 20″ and over. All fish will be given back to the anglers after weigh in.

Boat number will be determined by the order you sign up on the website. Online registration will open at 6pm on Monday February 16th.

For those reading this that don’t know, this is an open water tourney and the ramps are open.

This is an informal and laid back event. So, grab your fishing partner, your headlamp and come join us for this novel new event.

Damn, I’m so much better at catching saugers. Guess I don’t have much of a chance of being in the money.

What are the rules regarding prefishing? No boats in the water day of? Would a team be able to come in the morning and scout the waters that day?

Only being to those beautiful waters once so far would like to get a better lay of the land beforehand, but if not no biggie. Still looking forward to this event greatly either way.

We’ve decided to hold off at this time, we feel it’s too close the the Freeze Your Butt Off Tourney. It seems like there’s enough interest and we think it could have been fun to have a laid back tourney.
