Sorry if I missed a previous post about it, but is it just me? I can’t find any euro-larvae anymore. I used to tip my treble hooks on my jigs with them. All I can find in my area is wax worms? Are they a thing of the past?

If you can’t find them at your local bait shop, you can always order them to be delivered. They last a long time in the frig.

Thanks, good to hear they are still around. Will find some this weekend in my travels…skipping fishing in the Arctic blast this weekend, but will have plenty of miles in looking at homes to buy.

There’s no area on your profile. Where do you normally fish?

Ok. I’m NW of you. Most gas stations around me have decent supplies. I’ll also go to Fletcher’s in Sauk Centre to get bigger tubs. I think it’s 150 for $6.

Have a group of guys that go in on a split every year been doing it for many seasons and it’s very economical. We order bulk late fall from Speedy Worm or Vados. We then split them in groups of 1,000, personally I’m more of a plastic guy but will never step foot on the ice without meat. There’s times it will outproduce plastics no doubt. I Will second Fletchers Denny and his family run a top notch bait company. I will sometimes go out of my way to run a extra hour up to his shop just because of the variety and quality of the bait especially minnows he has on hand.

Great info! Thanks for sharing. I make it through Sauk Centre once in a while, never heard of Fletcher’s, but will make it a point to stop there next time I’m in the area.
