This event will help make possible muskie stocking and rearing in the metro area. The Twin Cities Chapter has stocked 1,000’s of muskies in metro lakes helping to create some very successful fisheries like White Bear and Minnetonka. Your attendance will help the program continue.

The Twin Cities Chapter of Muskies, Inc. uses funds raised from events like this banquet for:
· Financing and staffing a Military fishing day on Lake Minnetonka
· Working with the DNR to develop a new long-range muskie management plan to include new muskie lakes
· Playing an integral role in getting public support to stock Lake Pokegama
· Providing a day of fishing and shore lunch for every resident of the Minnesota Veterans Home for the past 15 years.
· Hosting youth outings in the Metro area in cooperation with the Fish-A-Thon organization.
· Maintaining muskie rearing ponds to stock yearlings in Minnetonka, White Bear and other Metro lakes, dramatically improving survival rate and increasing numbers of catchable fish sooner.
· Investing nearly $20,000 in muskie stocking and rearing activities in the metro area every year
