I’ll be out Friday night casting and soaking suckers. If I’m successful, you’ll hear about it.

No deer for me! Just back to back 10 hour days on Friday and Saturday. With the new moon up all day during the day, I cant imagine that a fatty wouldn’t be hitting the bottom of the net. Been waiting all summer for this time of year. A little Baileys and Coffe – Good to go! Good Times and good luck to everyone.

I will be out. I’m hoping the duck hunters I have run into will be deer hunting instead.

Dude, your boating skills need some improvment. Did they do any damage to your boat

    Good luck this weekend

I will just say that they were on the other side of a point I was working and the only damage was to my shorts when they started unloading their guns.

I won’t be chasing Muskies, but I’ll be in the boat on a new piece of water. I own the cabin/deer camp, so I figured I’d better go up there. Plus I enjoy the conversations, lies…I mean stories and seeing all my buddies. So I’ll be bringing the boat and seeing if I can’t catch an Eye or two.

Probably the worst fishless streak I’ve been in. I put in another 20 hrs on Fri-Sat with 17-18inch suckers with one rip to show for it at sun-down on Fri. Put the wood to it and came back with an empty quick strike rig. Fished suckers all day Fri and part of day Saturday. The rest of the day Saturday spent casting CALM side of the lake and the other half day spent trolling the ROUGH side of the lake. Absolutely NO fish seen. Water temps ranged from 44-50.

Focus your next trip out on the major. The window has been small but the most action I have seen has been 1 hour in front of this time and right through it.

Give me a buzz when your going next, we should try to hook up befor the season ends.

Good new for you, I don’t have any Lamiglas rods in the boat

Mille Lacs was a bust. The weather man’s wind forecast was just a little off. Fished out there for a few hours and packed it in, stopped at Rush on the way home, and got skunked. YEEEHAW!

My buddy and I hunt WI so every deer opener here in MN we spend the weekend on the water chasing big toothy!! This year was great for us. Saturday was the olny day we had wind otherwise it was pretty much glass on the water. That calm weather didnt help the fishing but a guy can complain when its that nice this time of year. Saturday my buddy beat his PB twice within an hour. And I ended up getting my PB sunday morning. Glide baits and dawgs were the ticket. Fish hit on the pause. Didnt even bring suckers.
