The temps have definitely cooled off recently, therefore water temps are beginning to be at a reasonable level. I am just wondering if anyone has seen a change in action since this has been happening.

3 fish in a week. Seen lots of others. For me it is definitely going better.

I definately saw a difference this past weekend, I spent both days pulling cranks on the Croix and found the fish very shallow early and eager to bite. As the sun made it’s way up and the boat traffic increased, they slid out into deeper water and became more finicky, still managed to keep a couple of nice eaters but stopped myself from fishing any deeper than 20′, I just don’t like taking fish from deep water with high temps and expect them to be ok when released.

Good luck. 4 hours on Waconia yesterday = zero sign of muskies

She fell victim to a Phantom Soft tail in the red horse pattern. Shallow point with rock and coon tail.
