I had my Wednesday night bass league last night. We were at Orchard lake and the Tigers were going nuts. Curious if anyone else was out ski fishing and had similar activity. While bass fishing for 3 hours there was 6 Tigers boated. The two biggest were 36″. Nothing big, but still interesting that they were that active. Plastics and topwater produced most of them in real shallow.

I was out last night and did not see a single fish.

Lots of surface activity but no Lunge.

Search WIKI for FULL MOON FOLKLORE. Especially the parts about weird behavior and inconclusive results.
In the Algonquin languages, the second full moon after summer solstice — usually occuring in August — is known as Grain, Dog or Harvest Moon. The third in September is Harvest Corn or Barley Moon.
In either case, there is always the distinct possiblity that some sort of distillate was also involved this week.
The August Full moon was also known as the red or green moon, according to Wiki, which could mean that your lure was one of these colors….or that you should remember to keep your stick on the ice because we’re all pulling for you.
