If them growing to 50″+ is not going well, then yes.

In another month you will be able to walk across the North end sand going from boat to boat.

State record Muskie is in Mille Lacs and everybody knows it.

Too bad a few more don’t make the trek to the St. Croix….catches up to 56″,….and with the right girth, still equals a new MN state record. All the stocking to pool 2 with Leech Lake strain is making for some mighty bulky river ski’s on the Croix. Not sure if the pleasure traffic or navigating a river is the deterant but I think there’s a lot less pressure on the Croix vs. Mille Lacs. Come late October….there’s a ton of fat fish in the system. All ya gotta figure out is how to get a full bellied fish to bite.

Not so concerned about a state record, I couldn’t afford the mount anyway…:)

Just wondering if Musky’s are eventually going to die out on Milacs and whether I should get my butt up there before that happens.

St Croix would be nice, but not familiar with fishing it, so for me Milacs makes more sense.
