Got to the Metro Lake at 4:15am to a half filled parking lot and knew it was going to be bumper to bumper out there. I Decided to fish more mid lake structure since the shoreline around the lake looked like Christmas Lights with boats every 100 yards pouding all my usual haunts. For me the key to putting this one in the boat was to change up the cadence and work the bait different than everyone else. My first ski while fishing solo – All I get is memory and a pic on a bump board. I hope everyone had a great opener! Good Luck this season

Good stuff!!! I fish by myself a lot and the pics I get now are from the Frabill cradle. Better to treat the fish right than fiddling around with the fish out of the water trying to get a picture of you… Pretty fish!!!

Very nice fish! You can’t beat 1 for 1. I like the idea of keeping a batting average so to speak. I wonder what my average will be at the end of the year…My guess is that I will be a Nick Punto level musky fisherman (somewhere around .200 sounds about right).
