5/24 IGLs

Did some casting Monday trying to entice “Big Toothy” but to no avail. One small fish under 30 and a nice slimer about 32″. Only saw one other musky that was only about 18″ which is a good sign for the future. We threw Dawgs, jerks, and cowgirls. Not sure if we were fishing the right structure as there is not much weed growth yet
Unfortunately I have no idea when I’ll get back there to try again but I hope its soon. Need to find someone with a boat… not many people musky fish around here(eastern SD) so people look at me funny when I say musky fishing
I did finally join the Upper Great Plains chapter of Muskies Inc so I’m very excited about that

Congrats on joining the chapter, always good having new blood. West is tough this early in the season, lots of lookers not many eaters.. it will get better as the temps get up there in the 70’s. And we get some weeds.
