Pike Lake?

    I know this is like asking someone how much money they have in the bank. Coupled with the fact that no one really knows me personally. lol BUT……… If someone could suggest a good pike lake with in 45 of downtown mpls, I would greatly appreciate it. Please send PM Thanks and have a happy opener!

    This is no secret. Minnetonka has some nice pike in it. They just don’t get a lot of attention. Good luck!

    BIG CARNELIAN in marine on st croix has a good population of pike in it. not a big average most 30 inches and under. the biggest we have pulled out of there is 36 inches through the ice…FUN TIP UP LAKE CONSTANT ACTION BASICALY ALL DAY!!! If you decide you want to try it just let me know and i can point you in the right direction on where to start. i leave friday morning for vermillion until next sunday so if you plan on hitting it on opener let me know soon..

    For numbers and an occasional biggun’ you can’t beat Forest Lake. Throw on a rattletrap and hold on! Big Marine is also an excellent Pike fishery.

    i’ve caught plenty of pike on bald eagle. any of the weed lines should be pretty good so about 10 12 ft.
