lets hear where everyone is going to be fishing for musky opener. unless it’s a secret. i was thinking aboug going to mille lacs but me n nick got to thinking about big bodies of water don’t warm as quick(i know the muddy bays do) but we were thinking of a smaller lake or a river for some more stable water conditions and hopefully more willing and active fish. does anybody else think this is a good idea? i think we may go to a small river for the day fish and a lake like minnetonka for the nite bite with less people out and all.

If I find someone else that’s free that day, Minnetonka.

Might be sneaking up to the Cisco Chain for the MI/WI boundary water opener on the 15th and then the WI opener on May 29 I would still have to decide, perhaps the Mannie Chain…

I have actuly decided to give up Muskie fishing and take up ballroom danceing. there will be a huge tackle sale the night before season opens 1/2 price everything must go. My dress and shoes cost a fortune. P.M. Me for sale location.

For your partners sake, PLEASE shave

Its gonna be the metro area for me on opener. With any luck we will have some warmer water temps and the fish will be on the move. The following weekend it’s going to be up at the cabin with the family. Those Longville muskies are in trouble Could be a great early topwater bite

    Manscaping done

But really I’ll be in the metro hucking big baits. With this early spring and warm water temps it’s no time to down size I’ve allready seen some big carp and suckers get CRUSHED by BIG skies. Bob I hope your rite about the early topwater bite I still need to catch one on top

Who’s got time for fishing when there’s money to be made

So much OT, so little time

I haven’t really given it a ton of thought lately, but I’m thinking either Tonka, or Waconia

I’ll be on Leech, I plan on fishing walleyes (opps – can I use that word on a muskie forum? ) until midnight on Friday and then start chucking.
