So there i am nurseing a wicked hangover on crappy sunday afternoon. When all the sudden my phone starts to scream PICK ME UP. Now for just a second i give thought to throwing a $500 phone aginst the wall but i remeber that im waiting for a verry important call so throwing the Iphone was not an option. Anyhow I pick up the phone and heard what i was waiting for ”Tim Bob Schmit from Just Encase your box is done” About a month ago i was searching the web for a better way to store the mass of lures i have for muskie fishing and found http://www.justencase.com it took all of about 2 seconds and i knew that i needed one of these boxes.I diddent see any thing that would fit my GIANT BAITS though undeterd i called the owner Bob Schmit. BOB said that it would be no problem to get exactly the box I wanted. What we ended up doing is a custom fully adjustable 20”Dx24”Lx16”W those are 2lb bulldawgs and 14” jakes in there theres even noches half way down on the dividers so under my bucktails are all my gliders. Just thought id share with you guys and let you know if your looking for a better way I FOUND it so take a look at Justencase.com and have Bob build you a SWEET BOX

That is sweet!! I have heard a lot of good things about those boxes. I have seen where guys get them built to fit the inside dimentions of their floor to extend the casting deck.

it looks like a good solution but who has 2-1000 dollars for a tackle box cuz that’s what it costs for one of those casting platform. don’t get me wrong i’m jealous. i’m in the process of making a replica of one of these with a friend so if it turns out i’ll let u know how it went

I don’t know what a casting platform from this company would cost but I know they run $700 – $800 from Skeeter or Ranger. And those don’t store tackle. So for $1000… the price doesn’t seem out of line to me.

I think alot of us look at these as bait vaults, much like a gun safe. When you have $2-$3K invested in baits it’s nice to have a secure safe place to have them stored yet redily avalible. Hell I got over $400 alone in 3 Lakewoods and could use 1-2 more.

I think for the casting deck box for a 620vs will run about $1000. My box was mutch less like $600 less. Shaley is right when I’ve got a couple grand stuck in tackle I want to put it in something that will protect it. I can actuly cable lock this to my boat and the box is UV resistant so the paint on all my nice lures won’t fade and the biggest plus the thing is clear less time searching for a bait=more time fishing. Ever try to find a black bucktail in the bottom of another box?

Bob from Just Encase, called me on tuesday and he said that my custom 12″ x 12″ x 14″ pedistal box was done This thing is FREAKIN SWEET!! This box does double duty as a jump box too. This was my first time working with Bob, and this box was deffinately worth the wait I’ve been dreaming of a sweet pedistal box for a while now, and Bob worked his magic, and made my dream come true
