    i read in the new regulations that you can fish for trout in streams until march 31st. so i decided to try for some trout the otherday. but i got this guy instead

    same fish:

    it may not be a trout but it sure was fun. i can’t complain

    That one of those speckled minnesota trout…bet its a holdover from last year ! Nice fish !

    @ ryan: yes.

    there is a healthy population of both large pike and large browns in that little creek

    I don’t mean to bust your bubble but that river isn’t included in the Southeast stream regulations. Just trying to help keep you out o’ trouble.
