WTG Bob, living vicariously through you right now as work and baiting bear has me all tied up. Got an opportunity to fish the next three days but working on hooking a kid on fishing!!! So the skies will have to wait for a little while again. My neighbor’s grandson just got back from Eagle where they got one and then he has two on Tomahawk in the last two days… Unfortunately he heads back to IA for school soon.

    I second that one

    I’ve been working 60 – 80 hrs/wk + doing a house remodel , so there deffinately hasn’t been any time for fishing

But August is looking pretty good, so I’ll be making up for lost time

I got brought out for my first time muskie fishing from a good buddy. 5 minutes on a spot and we missed our first fish. Moved spots and within 5 minutes on a top water he railed into this 45″ tonka beast!

    I may be hooked….

Had my best and worst day of musky hunting today. Good news I put the hooks into 3 mid 40s fish Bad news I was only able to boat this one that hit the tape at 45. Very memorable as this fish put at least 5 feet between him and the water and one of the others did about the same. Calling for identacle weather conditions tomorrow morning!!
