One last trip- Tonight

    Anyone going to hit the water today/tonight. Its that last chance for the 2009 muskie season

    Had a good weekend with 3 fish making it to the boat and one shaking off right at the net. I have high hopes for a big gal tonight, they are still after the Tuli, come on fatty

    Good luck! I actually soaked suckers this weekend for the first time ever. Had a few whiffs and misses. My brothers fried my trolling motor yesterday so it looks like it’s all over for me. A slower than average season overall for me. Highlights of the year were putting four rookies on their first ever fish, lowlights were losing two giant fish this fall that would have crushed my PB. Only seven more months to wait to start the vicious cycle once again.

    Tim and I hit the water on Saturday. Tim had the hot hand boating a nice fat 44 incher, 22 minutes in front of moon rise. His second fish was a 40 incher and it was a tagged fish. Both of Tim’s fish where caught on 2-lb Dawgs, Tim is an animal
    Sunday was a very short trip for me, getting the green light from the wife after church, hitting the lake minutes prior to moon rise and boating a 41 incher minutes later. I also had one other fish shake off right at the net. Both of the fish from Sunday were also hooked on Dawgs.

    What a great night on the water. The weather was unreal!
    We saw 15 fish, a few I think were the same fish making a second apperance.. Only managed one in the net tonight, but what a great way to round off the season.
