I am taking Monday off to give it a go for a November Sklunge somewhere w/in a hour of the metro and am open to suggestion because I haven’t connected with anything the last 4 times out. I am thinking about Rush, the St. Croix, Forest or WBL. What do you guys think? All 4 have pretty decent bigger fish possiblities. Thanks

I am looking at all three webcams from the Pond right now and that’s something I would really consider right now!!! Especially if your boat can handle some wind…

If it isn’t too windy the pond might be a good call. However, it has kicked my butt the last few times out. Like 0 follows in the last 3 or 4 trips.

Well, due to the extreme winds we decided against Mille Lacs. My dad and I fished Rush from 10-5 and I had 2 follows to show for it. One was a very nice fish 46-48″ range. Both follows were on magnum bulldawgs. Water temp varied from 45-47 degrees. Dispite the wind and lack of fish, a day on the water with my dad is waaaaaay better than a day at work. This should be a good week for those lucky enough to get out! Good luck!

Yep. We put in on West Rush and the docks were out. The water was a lot clearer than I expected, which was kind of nice.

Eagle Lake here in Hennepin Co has some pretty awesome muskie fishing I hear… one of my neighbors a block or two over fishes there when he’s not at the cabin up on the Red River and he’s had good things to say, and a few other guys I know fish Eagle for pannies and bass but have (almost literally) bumped into a monstersaurus from time to time.

If anyone wants to hit it, let me know… I don’t have a boat, but I have some really good jokes and a decent bait budget.
