Anybody got a guess on the dimensions of this thing. Wasn’t exactly targeting them considering I was in a bass tournament, but one of the bigger ones I’ve ever caught. Didn’t even think to cut a piece of line to the length at the time.

Hard to tell but that’s a helluva fish

From the background it sure looked like muskie weather ….any details?

    Its a very nice fish
Looking at a photo it is very hard to guess the length or girth of a fish. She looks nice, fat, and healthy. Congrats

If this helps any, I pointed this out to Phishrman this morning.

    Here’s a 54 1/2″ (24″ girth) FishAholic5 posted up on Lake-Link today.

Resized so their right hands appear to be about the same size, for a better comparison

    Our best guess was 44″.

It seems any weather on Monona is muskie weather!!!That lake is full of those dirty bass eaters . but yeah, they definitely had the feed bag on last weekend. Boated 2 in 2 days on jigs while fishing for bass and lost about 40 bucks worth of Tungsten weights to bite offs Both fish were caught within 50 yards of each other on Weedpoints and successfuly released. Hurt my dang back pullin this one out of water!

If anybody wants some muskie info on that lake, feel free to PM me. I run into quite a few of these things out there every year.

That is a nice fish 45 would be my guess. I was just about to start trying for them again. I have never had much luck down state compared to up north.
