If you are looking for a way to while around some time, a couple of our local guides here in the Northwoods of WI are doing Internet radio. You can listen live on Sunday nights at 7:00 p.m. at this link: http://www.muskiematt.com/. Look for the “Listen Live” in the lower right hand corner with the blue painted lake and sun drawn in. Also you can look at this link: http://www.lastcastguideservice.com/. Scroll down on the page till you see the dude (Pete Stoltman, posted here last fall) in the radio gear near the bottom.
You can get archived shows from the last two weeks by going to the menu on the left side and clicking on “RFRG Radio”.
Their shows claim to be a “pair of knuckleheads wondering what will fall out of their mouth next”. They talk about all kinds of fishing, have phone in Trivia contests with prizes and talk to some decent sticks like Steve Heiting, Jim Saric, Steve Jonesi, Joe Bucher and a host of others. Regular guys like you and me can call in with a report about any where in the country. They have started the Lone Star and Florida Chapters.
Check out the last show on June 21, hour one has Bucher on it this week talking about fishing and their up coming Blues show to fund Youth Football in a local community.
Muskies are starting to move pretty good over here, anyone else getting a chance to fish yet over there???
