I have found Tyger Leader to be indespensible. Anyone else using it?

I use it all the time and love the ease of its use. I dont use it on purpose to target pike or musky but when bass fishing. After you lose a couple jigs or spinnerbaits to pike it comes in very handy. I’ve never had a fish break it yet and it doesn’t seem to deter the bass from hitting. Just use a good barrel swivel they can be most important part of the set up. I also like that you can tie a knot with the leader material itself. hopefully this helps, Dan

I love the stuff. I use the knot shown on the package and give it a quick weld with the bic lighter. When cinching down the knot pull the tag end to keep the leader part from kinking up.
A pike/musky will put kinks in the leader but I just cut the leader off to that point and tie my cross lock back on. It will get you more use out of a leader.

Like Dan said, it will not stop a bass from hitting. It is light enough material that it will not mess up the action on your top water baits while fishing bass either. Horny Toads, Ribbits, Spros and Spooks all work well when using Tyger Line.

I too use it bassing for the same reason. I may start using a snap swivel on the lure end because I’m going though the stuff too quickly retying. James Holst turned me onto it a few years ago and I love it.
