Metro Weekend

Fished Minnetonka 12 hours on Sunday through the rain and wind. Moved some REAL nice fish on points before 10:00am. Mostly neutral fish two seperate fish took swipes but no hooks. Raised a deffinate 50 inch class fish off Gibson point and couldn’t get him to go. Didn’t see a single ski after the first heavy rain. 5 pike on the day – All fish moved on DCG’s and Manta’s.
Monday 5 hours on tonka 7:00am – 12:00 moved two fish 40 inchers no takers.
Switched lakes Best idea of the weekend.
1:00pm to 7:00pm Moved 5 fish got hooks in three. Lost my second 50 inch fish of the week. I Almost threw up – 30 pound fish. I Lost one on Tuesday to a lure failure, this one came unglued at the boat after an absolute battle. Stuck with it and boated a 45 and a 46 to save the weekend. Fish had the feed bag on – look at the chunk. Again, all fish moved on DCG’s and Mantas.
