Played hooky yesterday to take advantage of the overcast day. I would have rather done Thursday because of the rain and humidity – Top water would have been great. Anyways I went to a small metro lake and all in all pretty slow. One pike one Short and Scrappy ski and one that didn’t stay pinned up. Fished mostly rocks and sparce weeds. This one came off a weed break in 10ft of water. Came victim to a size 6 Blue Fox Vibrax bucktail with a tandam Mepps Maribou tail. Black tail – Chrome blade with a white paddle tail plastic on the end. 
Top Water was non – exsistent. I plan on hitting White Bear on Sunday all day and Minnetonka on Monday. I’ll report back next week – hopefully with some nice pics.
