I received a great e-mail from good friend George the other day and thought I’d share the smiles.

Takoda caught this Northern Pike on July 19th using his sister Mikki’s Zebco 33 Rhino pole loaded with 10lb test line. The monster pike attacked a jig and night crawler as Takoda was reeling it in towards the boat. It took him about 6-7 minutes to get it to the net. The Zebco 33 (older model made in the USA) performed flawlessly during several drag screaming runs. The net was bending as I lifted it into the boat. I am currently searching for a taxidermist to have it mounted.
41” length 18.5” girth the handheld scale read 16lbs after we got back to the dock.
