I was back at it again on Saturday morning. Early in the AM I had a fish come up really hot. The fish chased hard, and turned aggressively on the “8”. I stared to make her chase the bait back deep, and when I came back up and around on the outside, she was still right there on the bait. Right as I cross the middle of the “8”, she nipped the baits, hooks met flesh, and about 5 seconds later, she was back down to the depths. I lost a really nice 45-46 inch fish on the “8” 
We had a lot of fish moving early in the AM, and things slowed way down. We did have one nice hook up with a Crestliner, some guys running the shoreline trolling got a little close, and Dan set the hook hard on what ended up being their bait. The look on the guys face was classic when Dan set the hook. It’s a BIG one
