Head Start Please!

Mike C and I are headed to Moose Lake in Sawyer CO. WI. Thursday for a yearly company Musky tournament and do not have time to pre fish the day before.

We know the main lake and rivers in and out very well but, you could give me a head start if you been fishing it and can give me a water temp and tell me if the perch are in the rice

We pull suckers and take turns throwing sticks while the other rows. I hope to post a good outing

We have taken some big smallies on Holcombe but never Moose.

Can’t tell you that the perch are in the rice just yet, but most of the muskies have been shallow over in our area. Water temps were in the low to mid 60’s all weekend long. With the cold and river running through it, you may be in the upper fifties over on Moose by the time you get there. Sounds like you have a good plan, any while perch fishing???
