I’m heading up to Canada on Sunday to chase some pike and eat walleye. I will be on a lake 100 miles north west of Thunder Bay. Has any one been up in Canada this year. How was the water level and how was the fishing?

I was 500 miles north of the border the first week of June and water levels were about 3 foot above normal. Fishing was good, it’s usually great on this lake but high winds most of the week made it a little tougher. Have fun and good luck. I’m going to try it again in August.

we were a couple hundred miles north and west of TB the first week of june and the water level was about 1 1/2′ low. they had 12″ of rain the week before so the levels should have come up. the fishing was great but rained every day that week also. good luck and will look for your report.

I will be up in the Uplsa (Graham) ON. area. I’m so looking forward to going. My group has been going up there for about 30 years now. I have missed the last 2 years do to work. I can not wait any longer.

I just got back from my trip to Canada. We Had a big cold front go threw the frist two days of the trip. We did find some good Walleys in 15-20 feet of water jiging. The pike fish was so so. There were a lot of 3-5lbs but we never could find the big ones. I did catch two Walleye that where 27 inches so I did not feel so bad about not hooking in to the bigger pike.
