Hitting a local metro lake this weekend with a buddy. New water to us and we are going to be chasing pike. Would they still be up in the weeds or would they be making the transition to deeper depths?

It all is going to depend on what lake you are on and the water temp. I think your best luck will be deep with what I have seen for water temps as of late. I really have not been looking for pike, but I have stumbled across a few nice ones in 15+ feet of water over the last week. Good luck
