I will be sleeping very restless tonight in anticipation of opening up for muskies. I WILL wake up multiple times to look at the clock. It seems like the time from March Muskie shows till now was forever! I feel like a kid at x-mas.

my musky fever is realy high too. I do not think I will be sleeping to much tonight too. I may have to pick on some sunnies or bass today to take some of the edge off. Maybe it will help me sleep better.

Not falling asleep isn’t the problem……The problem is getting up at 3am to eat breakfast, make a pot of coffee, buzz over to my buddy’s house, load up the rig, get on the road to an hour drive, to be at the launch @ 4:30am to be fishing @ 5:00am………So, being it is Friday, does a guy stop for “a beer” on his way home or not from work……

Gary, keep in mind that the Leech Lake strain of Muskie operate on Western Standard Time. Therefore when you are on the water at 5 am, it’s really 2 am Muskie time. Best if you wait until 8 am (5 am Muskie time) to start tossing wood.

Which means, yes you can stop for a .
