Well, since the other species threads are doing this might as well start one here.

Wisconsin opener fish within the first two hours on the water. Unfortunately, this was the only fish boated over two days and three lakes.

Nice start, no marks at all either, must have found the soft mud to lay the eggs.

Here’s a pic of Serpents 40 from Forest on Saturday caught on a crappie squirrley SS Shad. His personal best ski. Congrats dude! We were fishing the metro tournament. Didn’t end up registering it for the tourney because he just couldn’t muster up a kicker fish to go with it, although he did have a couple other decent follows.

will definetly be awhile. I have atleast 7 pics left on the camera. I can give you more pics from last fall or is this just for 07? The 7 i boated this weekend, i only took 2 pics, all you will see is the fish in the water w/ the lure. I was by myself, pretty tough to take a good pic by yourself. I typically fish alone and i was cut real bad 2 yrs ago, so i usually dont even take them out of the net, just flip em right out. I have very good releases, which i know many people can appreciate as i do appreciate other anglers that do an excellent job of releases. W/ this hot weather and water temps starting to get up there we will have to be even more careful.

Are you sure you caught that on a Cowgirl? Looks to me like a victim of the Combos on a slip bobber

I wished I had finally got one, but with two boats we saw one come to each boat early this week. This fish came in 26′ on a black bucktail with a silver blade. It was being cranked in the upper portion of the water column. Nice fish at 41″, his PR, then we put a twenty something squeaker in the boat on a same kind of bucktail in 5′ of water. Easy pattern, eh???
