Who’s goin’ beside Slow Rollin’ and where? I think the Stingler and myself will be on a few small lakes in the south of Hayward area in search of 88″ fish.

I’ve got to work the opener but I have a morning opportunity that Saturday. I may hit Cedar, possibly Deer.

My wife and I will be out… All weekend and all week… Unsure where as of yet.. Probably on a lake, just looking to put a few fish in the boat… Should be a good opener with the fish in good shape…

I’ve got a cabin outside of Cumberland and will be draggin’ some lures behind the pontoon every chance I get. We’ll be up there the whole week after Memorial Day. I can’t freaking wait. I should also find time to get out and pound the water with most of the lures in my box. Last year, Memorial Day was my best day all season with 45 and 43 inchers caught about an hour apart.

I’ll be up on Namakagon, looking for my first BIG ‘ski. We fished Day Lake last year (just down the road), but the 2 we caught in 3 days were in the 20’s. Hopefully the weather cooperates this year. It was almost miserable last year approaching 100 degrees.

I will be on Namekagon. How will the boat traffic be? Anticipating a sell out crowd?

Not sure. I fished Namakagon about 5 yrs ago, but all I can remember is that it rained all weekend. I hope that’s not the case this year because we’ll be staying in the National Forest Campground… at least we’ll have two campers to retreat to instead of a tarp tied between trees. Good luck, maybe we’ll run into each other at a local watering hole.

Good luck out there on Namekagon… That lake is gaining more and more popularity… Can be feast of famine on her, but hopefully the feast will be with you guys on opener.. Some tanks to be had for sure… 53″ was my biggest fish last season, and it came from Namekagon… I’ll probably be down the road a ways…

Cisco Chain is the place I will be on WI/MI water!!! It opened on the 15th, so I am hoping that our group will not be bothered by the rest of the folks fishing WI waters. Shallow water with the cool weather & water. Good luck all!!! Pic is of my partner and the other group leader. We have a pack of 6 total.
