Anyone fish Winne for muskies?

Has anyone fished Winnie for muskies? I have never fished it, but have been considering it.. Anyone have any info they would like to share?

Never fished it, but every year at the Frank Schneider somebody registers a big fish out of there. I guess it just isn’t a great numbers lake, but you can’t argue that it doesn’t have size, considering the state record was stuck out there.

work from the river mouth north along the west side weed beds to the north end
and the break on the se corner
white and perch bulldawgs and firetiger bucktaiks are good
good luck

Our best luck has been north and south of the river along the weed lines and cabbage. Northern for days in the cut and Little Winnie when you get bored.
