Got my pike finally put on the wall this weekend. Caught it up on LOTW last June trolling cranks in shallow water for walleye. She is 41″ long and was super fun catching on walleye gear.

You’ll need a paper pad and pencil next to it.

Every time you look at that fish and sit back recalling the moments from strike to landing you’ll need to make a “1” on the pad.

    Looks great,

    but one problem.

    It’s NOT realistic,

because it is No Longer All SLIMY!

    Nice Mount!

Just curious was this a catch and release mount or did they use the actual fish?

    Came out nice

I’m not sure but it looks like the actual fish by the photo of its mouth.

    Joc,

That is a real fish mount. My dad’s friend is a taxidermist back home in Eau Claire Wi and he did for me.

I wasn’t sure how good they could replicate the inside of the mouth?
