Today i’m getting all geared up for some fall muskies. I ordered some church tackle tx-44 boards, lock jaw snaps, down east S17 rod holders, a 13inch grandma and a 12inch custom x.

Its starting to get cold in the northwoods with forecasted temps in the mid 40’s for the next10 days. I have always been a “TOUGH GUY” in the fall and cast big bulldogs but this season I think i’ll try to be the “SMART AND WARM GUY” and test out some new trolling lures.

Trolling helps to keep your lures in the strike zone for a much longer time and helps you cover new water more easily in my opinion. Trolling also proves to be a good method on an extremely windy day where boat control with electric motors is almost not an option.

So this fall tie on a big lure to some 100pound test and give it a shot. I hope to be posting some pictures real soon of the results my new set up will produce. Keep on fishing until the lake is hard to ensure your chance at your own LIVING LEGEND!
