Any updates on water temp and action? I’m coming back from school this weekend to hopefully set the hook. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We are sitting right around 60 degrees for water temp as of yesterday on Tonka. Big blades, slow rolled over deep edges, and big rubber has been a steady producer this time of year. Surprise Surprise! It has been pretty hit or miss, fish have been really hot and really cold.

A few more degrees and hopefully all H*** breaks loose!
One of my fishing partners was out on tonka pulling around suckers already and connected with 3 of 4 fish that hit. Pulling a planar board right off of the edge with 6 feet of line out and then dropping a sucker with an egg sinker about 10 feet down, just tooling around the breaks.

Yep, 60-61 degrees for the most part. Pay attention to the majors/minors, the fish activity really seems to be tied closely to those the last 3 times out for me at least. I will be giving it a go again on Saturday morning…hopefully some of these followers will become eaters.

Thanks for the reports! Unfortunately friday was my only day I was able to fish and the wind was pounding a solid 20-25mph. Couldn’t convince a buddy to join me….Maybe one more trip in november!
