I ran across some northern and muskie look alike lures that seem to be a bit different from the general run of the mill lures.
These are made by a company named Dunwright and range in size from 8 to 12 inches and are a soft bait that looks like a swim bait but is not made of a petroleum product.
It is a heavy one specs say it is in the 5 OZ. range.
Seems like one would need special tackle to use these things.
I notice Cabella’s have some smaller pike look alikes listed in their catalog, as well as some soft baits by Storm that are soft baits.
I have seen the latter and they do look very realistic but maybe damaged by fish a bit easily.
I am wondering if any of you have tried these and what kind of results.
They are supposed to be good for bass too.
