This little pike…26 inches or so….

Is one of the most stupid fish I have ever come across!

Either it is stupid or aggressive?

I typically fish at my mother’s every thursday or wednesday and this wednesday past marks

SIX times I have caught the same pike.

So, now we know catch and release does work. Is there a shortage of food or a over abundance of fish in the area? I understand him being caught more then once but 6 times is getting on the bizarro side.

I could be wrong but I think the middle one is a different fish. It is cool catching the same fish over again.
Years ago I lived on a river and caught the same small mouth many times the same summer.

Thinking the same thing. Middle one might be his brother.

Forgive me for piling on but I have to agree with these guys. If you look at the dot pattern on the cheeks #2 is definitely not the same fish as #1 and #3.

As for the original question “is he dumb or aggressive” for being caught over and over… I’d prefer to call him “consistent.” He lives where he lives and he’s programmed to react to the presence of a feeding opportunity in a predictable manner.

You keep throwing your bait there. Whatcha’ expect?!
