Monster MN Muskie Watch

    As some of us know the guides accross the state have been catching monsters the past few fall seasons! The secret is out and people are releasing state record class fish across the board. Guide Jason Hammernick released 2 state record fish last week and i’m sure he will continue to get bigger muskies!

    I was fortunate enough to land my personal best 47lb muskie two days ago on a pounder bulldog! 53.5 x 26.5 and full of ciscos. Weather has been too good lately to write a report so hopefully i’ll have some pictures up and some info later tonight!

    Hammernick caught a 57.5″er this summer, wait till he comes across that monster in late fall. HUGE!

    I’m no muskie fisherman, but even I will be anxiously awaiting a glimpse at the picture of that fish.

    Congrats AJ, that is a big fish. Looking at those to pigs from Mille Lacs earlier this month is a good reminder of why you need to fish big fish water to catch truly big fish.
